My Weekend

Today Miss said we had to blog about what we did in our holidays. I thought instead of just doing a simple note, I could create a short poem and a nice poster to go along with it.

Courage of a Lion

Zellio and Sipio are siblings, one day their uncle Rath comes out of no where and gives them some gifts. The real reason for why he's here after all these years is because he has to arrive some news for the family. The news being that the Roman soldiers are coming to overrun the port city of Rusicada because they've had enough of the king's weakness. The family has to go through many hard decisions and escape before it's too late. In my opinion, I think this is nice short story and I'd read this again.

What I Learned

Today I have learned something amazing about money. Today in class we were out into groups and each group had a coin or note that we had to research about. We needed to know things such as "what can you buy with that value?", "How can you earn that value?" and "who or what is in that value and why?". We answered the questions on a poster and then we had to present the poster. My group was doing the 2 dollar coin. I learned that the bird on the coin was a Kotuku, it's one of NZ rarest birds. I learned it was released in 1990. I learned that you can buy many things with 2 dollars.

Fire poster

Here is a poster I did last year. Our school values are FIRE and this poster shows exactly what fire means and why it is our school values. Hope you show fire today.
