Today, we were told by our teacher to blog our recent quick-write once again and once again here's mine. I always have a fun time writing it and I hope you have a fun time reading it. :)

Sun City

Every morning, my class has to do our quick writes for at least 15 mins. This helps our brain get ready for the day and it helps us advance our writing skills. This is one of my quick writes.

Expectations For Term 4

LCS Presentation

For the past weeks, I've been working on a presentation about the digestive system with my partner, Rangi. It was fun to decorate and research about. It was scary having to go up and present, what made it worse was......we were bloody first.

Sugar

Today, In our class. We got into groups and a activity about sugar was held. We got pictures of drinks, and then we needed to predict the amount of sugar that was in it. After our predictions were made, we made a poster.

Road safety poster

My school is apart of a competition where, us Glen Taylor school students have to create a road safety poster and whoever turns out the best, wins basically and gets prizes. I'm sure mine ain't winning but I can always pray.

Monster land

MONSTER LAND

When the sky is pitch black and the stars are shining bright, all the kids of the world are
sleeping on their cozy beds except one.

Everynight, Michael Jackson crawls under his bed and says hi to his monster. His monster is called
Derek, and the colour of his soft fur on top of his harsh skin is a peaceful blue and a wild purple.
Derek’s claws are horrifyingly long and dark. He has sets of yellow sharp teeth in his mouth. He growls
powerful and head splitting if you get on his bad side. But something that makes him special and is Derek’s
personal favourite thing about him is his incredible personality.

Together they use Derek’s monster magic and vanish into the lovely world of monster land.
Monster land is an unbelievable place, everything their screams out the word “FUN”. There’s bouncy
balls, monstrous trampolines, crazy swings, thunderous deep laughter, extreme roller coasters and
many more. This whole place is an awesome fair.

Today, Derek and Michael are going to go to the bookstore to get a book to read tonight. After scanning
through many outrageous monster books, they found the perfect book. This book was called The
Friendly Monster, there was many different stories about friendly monsters but this one stood out. It
was special because the author was Jake, Him and Michael were fellow friends and the monster in the
story was best friends with mine.

That night. Michael was safely in his bed, tugging on his blanket that was as soft as rose petals.
Underneath his blue bed there was an amazing monster reading a story with his deep voice.
Derek couldn’t be any more happier he thought as they both dosed off to sleep.

Writing is Golden with Ms Wrack

Recently, Ms Wrack came to our class and taught us a little bit more about writing. She gave my class and I a task, the task was to create a story about Anzac using our 5 senses. Here is mine, I imagined I was a solider who got shot.

Predicting what might happen on Friday.

In the morning, we're probably going to have a big assembly and at the end,
Mr Herlihy will probably say "have a great holiday". In the classroom we might do some work which honestly I'm fine with if it's all chill and nice and we might play some games outside on the court. I assume we're going to take out all our piggy bank money and see how much we have.After we've found out the amount, we decide what we wanna eat and the feast is gonna be ready by the end block. While we're eating, hopefully we're also enjoying a nice movie. At the end of the day, we'll clean up the class and pack up everything and we'll say goodbye and thank you to our teacher and all our friends for making this term, a awesome one.

Update: I was wrong, The head students just walked in and told the class, we're having a fun day with lots of water activities and other sports.

My Weekend

Today Miss said we had to blog about what we did in our holidays. I thought instead of just doing a simple note, I could create a short poem and a nice poster to go along with it.

Courage of a Lion

Zellio and Sipio are siblings, one day their uncle Rath comes out of no where and gives them some gifts. The real reason for why he's here after all these years is because he has to arrive some news for the family. The news being that the Roman soldiers are coming to overrun the port city of Rusicada because they've had enough of the king's weakness. The family has to go through many hard decisions and escape before it's too late. In my opinion, I think this is nice short story and I'd read this again.
